Special thanks to all who supported the Academy's 20th Anniversary celebrations. In twenty years the Academy has grown from four founders to over 5,750 active members committed to the Academy's mission to protect, preserve and enhance the civil justice system.
We held two fabulous events in celebration: near Syracuse on May 30 and in Brooklyn on June 13. In Syracuse we honored Judge Deborah Karalunas and in Brooklyn the Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals, The Honorable Rowan Wilson. We also held a swearing-in at both events of our entire Board of Directors with Michael Bottar as Incoming President.
