The Associate Board represents the new generation of the Academy's diverse membership. Its members share the collective commitment to protect, preserve, and enhance the justice system. The Associate Board consists of plaintiff attorneys, prosecutors, and civil and criminal defense attorneys from varying areas of the legal community throughout New York State, working together to advance the profession from a fresh perspective. Its members supplement the Academy's free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs with topics geared toward newer attorneys, assist in drafting the Appellate Division Caselaw updates, and hold attorney networking events.
