As the season of gratitude approaches, The Academy is proud to announce our November Food Drive, an initiative dedicated to supporting families in need across New York State. This year’s drive will benefit local food pantries, extending the spirit of giving beyond our offices and into the communities we serve.

From now through Thanksgiving, members and nonmembers alike are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items, household essentials, and monetary donations. Collection can be online or in person, making it easy for everyone to take part in this effort to ensure that no family goes without a warm meal this holiday season.

“Our goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors,” said Academy President Andrea Bonina. “Thanksgiving is about coming together and giving thanks — and there’s no better way to show gratitude than by helping others enjoy the holiday with dignity and comfort.”

The donations collected will be distributed to four food pantries located throughout New York State, each serving hundreds of families facing food insecurity. With the rising cost of living and ongoing economic challenges, these food pantries play a critical role in their communities. The Academy is honored to support their mission.

The Academy invites everyone to join in this effort — whether by donating, volunteering, or spreading the word. Together, we can help make this Thanksgiving a little brighter for families across New York.

Donation Deadline: [November 26, 2025?]

Feedmore Western New York
The Food Pantries for the Capital Region
Food Bank of the Hudson Valley
