Starting January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys, those in their first 2 years of practice, will no longer be able to earn skills credits by webinar. These credits must be completed in person or through limited VCN programs. The Academy will run four VCNs in 2026, one in each of New York’s four Judicial Departments. Attendees may join at the in-person “hub” location for any Department, or participate remotely in small “satellite” groups of at least two participants.
