Our panel will discuss the best practices for the successful mediation of medical malpractice claims for plaintiff and defense counsel alike. Topics will include: identifying which cases to mediate, ideal timing for mediation, client consultation and preparation prior to mediation, drafting the mediation statement, oral presentation and negotiations during the mediation, follow-up if there's no final settlement, and more.
