Summary

This seminar will thoroughly explain techniques used by seasoned trial attorneys when negotiating settlements. Two of New York’s leading authorities on CPLR Art. 50-A & 50-B will explain what you need to know to be effective at mediation. The seminar will also present the perspective of a well-respected Mediator who will offer her insight as to how to effectively engage in settlement discussions so as to maximize the benefits of mediation.

*For experienced attorneys only
Please note that as of 1/1/26, the NYS CLE Board requires all newly admitted attorneys to complete Skills credits in the traditional live classroom setting or by fully interactive videoconference (group participation only).  This on-demand program does not fulfill that requirement for newly admitted attorneys.
